Installation: Stihl M-tronic saws will calibrate automatically, but a factory reset is recommended.

Non M-tronic saws MUST be tuned once installed.

Tuning with a digital tachometer, check RPM with stock muffler cover still on saw, swap stock cover install ported cover, check RPM with ported cover, set RPM back to stock original RPM
